CIO' CHE RESTA
A consideration about our cultural heritage
"Ciò che resta" series was inspire by the work of photographer Charles Fregér, specially by his series "wildermann".
This series triggered an investigation on our origins and cultural background. In carnival or winter celebrations of many countries it is vivid the heritage of pagan cultures and thei rites which are alive in costumes and ceremonies.
Strongly visible is still the close connection with the natural world and ancient animist concept.
